Created from a freak incident by nature, this park came to be after multiple earthquakes shook the area and caused the Mississippi to flow backwards, filling the area and creating what is now known as Reelfoot Lake. Sandy Creek is a premiere destination for weddings, featuring 6 different sites to get married across it’s 400 acre farm. • Listen, if you love unique museums, you will LOVE Discovery Park of America. Easily one of Tennessee’s hidden gems of places to see, Discovery Park is a spectacular venue to host a wedding. This venue offers 15 spaces to host an event, but I would highly recommend checking out either the Tower room, Train Depot, Chapel, Chapel Lawn, and the Covered Bridge for your ceremony space choices, and then you can enjoy the stunning indoor views of life size dinosaurs in Dinosaur Hall for your reception. And honestly, as a previous employee here, if you’re planning a micro wedding, let me personally recommend choosing the intimate space in the Tower where you can surround yourself with your loved ones plus panoramic views. Did I mention that the ceiling in that room  is designed to look like stars after the sun sets??

• Another state park in Tennessee, Cedars of Lebanon offers two different indoor venues, 3 pavilions and 1 gazebo to choose from for your wedding. While the pavilions and gazebo are ideal outdoor locations for small weddings, the Cedar Forest Lodge is a warm and cozy stone and wood lodge perfect for a small indoor wedding, but if you need a little more space, be sure to check out the Assembly Hall!
